Our Staff: Meet our Property Managers

Jason Marascio

CEO/President – Real Estate Agent & Property Manager

Jason Marascio started in customer service and sales at the young age of 12 delivering newspapers in the mornings and selling magazine subscriptions door to door on the weekends. He continued to work all through high school acquiring various jobs at lumber yards, restaurants, and retail stores. Jason eventually landed a job with a wholesale hardware distribution company located in Dublin, California right out high school where he flourished and was continuously promoted within the company for the next five years. Property Manager - Plano, Texas Changing gears, Jason utilized his customer service skills and passion for cars to become a Nissan service advisor. In a short time Jason was offered the service manager position, but instead chose to relocate to the Dallas Fort Worth area in 2004 to be closer to his family. He continued to work for Nissan in the Dallas area, but quickly found the dealership pace to be much slower than he was accustom to. Jason is not one to sit idle and started seeking other job opportunities when he was introduced to a real estate investor. Not afraid of hard work, Jason rolled up his sleeves and started getting vacant rental properties ready while still maintaining a full time job during the week with Nissan. Even though he started at the bottom cleaning toilets, removing trash, and being witness to some pretty nasty things Jason knew that real estate investing was an avenue he wanted to pursue. After just a few short months Jason quit his full time job with Nissan and started his own business, Elite Investment Property Services. Only scratching the surface of real estate investing, Jason started We Buy North Texas Homes in 2005 which allowed him to generate leads and build his own rental portfolio. After acquiring several rental properties, Jason found that managing them was becoming a full time job thus another business emerged in 2007, Glacier Property Management which eventually grew to become what it is today, North Texas Property Management. Citing “integrity” as Jason’s favorite word, he has built a thriving business on a foundation of trust and honesty in an industry that is often short on both. Jason brings a passion as a property manager to every city he works in – from Plano to McKinney, Frisco to Allen, and every other vibrant community in the North Dallas suburbs!

Rachel Presley

Account Manager

Rachel Presley comes to North Texas Property Management with 6 years of strictly accounting and asset management and a background strengthened by diversity and leadership. After graduating college with a degree in chemistry, she served 8 years in the US Army as a Medic and Pharmaceutical Specialist. It is here that she learned and honed her skills in organization, attention to details, and determination. Forced into retirement, she took her love of number and detail back to school to pursue a second Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration and the road has been as exciting and diverse as the tasks she faced in the military. Rachel took her newly attained degree and joined the team of a midsize Property Management Company where she personally maintained the accounts of 1600 rental properties and more than 200 individual and investor portfolios ensuring that all accounts and books balanced on a monthly basis. Seeking to diversify her skills she accepted a short term contract with a Commercial Real Estate Management company out of Dallas where she maintained all of the financial ledgers for tenants in 9 shopping centers across the US. This included tenant ledgers, company reports, and investor financials statements while assisting other team members with an acquisition audit for 5 large malls. It was a great learning experience, but Rachel is ready to take what she has learned and apply it to North Texas Property Management to help the company grow, owner’s to profit, and tenants to extend their tenure in their homes. She is looking to obtain her Real Estate License in the next year and then begin preparing for the CPA Exam. Rachel brings a passion to property manager activities that comes from a passion to learn. She enjoys the little quirks and hidden places among the sprawling Dallas suburbs, from Little Elm to Garland, Plano to Farmers’ Branch, and everywhere else that has “something special.”
