Leasing Agent

Most people tend to think of us as “property managers” or a “property management company,” just as most people use the term “rent” and not “lease.” That said, we work hard to be the best leasing agents or leasing agency in Plano.

If you own an investment property – or perhaps a series of investment homes, we’ll work hard to earn your trust as one of the top-rated teams of property managers out there. We help you “lease” your properties and work as your leasing agents to make sure that a) the properties are leased at top dollar in the market, b) the tenant issues are dealt with, including timely payments, and maintenance, and c), if necessary, we can help with everything up to evictions.

Use this page to learn more about our home leasing agency services, but really the best way to “get to know us” is to reach out for a consultation on your property management needs.

Leasing Agent: Historical Factoid

Not everyone is clear on what a leasing agent is, or what a leasing agent does, so we thought we’d summarize a factoid here:

Leasing agents work in apartment complexes and rental agencies. Agents handle rentals and leases for residential and commercial properties. They are responsible for finding tenants based on the owner’s and state’s requirements. Companies have different requirements for leasing agents, and state licensing requirements vary, but there are general requirements that prospective candidates should have. Some rental agencies and owners may require or prefer applicants to have at least a bachelor’s degree – especially for those working in off-site locations handling contracts and finances. This depends on the state and company. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, real estate or business administration is acceptable. Without previous work experience or training, a degree is typically required.
